Marie Martinez Spencer joined San Benito Pediatrics in 2000. A Salinas native, Marie is
a graduate of Fresno State
University’s acclaimed nursing program. A true "life long
learner," Marie especially enjoys new topics in reactive airway disease (asthma), behavior and child development. As the very involved mother of two active sons--Hayden, a college student, and
Brookes, a high school student-- she somehow finds time to volunteer in her community, bringing her talents to church,
school, and...baseball team!

Amy K. Baxter Bailey RN, MSN, CPNP
Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Amy K. Baxter Bailey joined
the SBP patient care team in early 2013. Amy headed east after high school, completing undergraduate studies at Rhode Island's Brown University. She went on
to garner both her R.N. and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania's
highly esteemed program. Amy then worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse and breastfeeding resource nurse
at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia--considered one of the best children's hospitals in the world. Childhood
obesity prevention and treatment holds a special place in Amy's heart, along with well child care, patient and parent
education. A Hollister native, Amy also speaks un poco Espaņol!
Marta Fajardo Gorelik, MD
San Benito Pediatrics was pleased to welcome Dr. Marta Gorelik to our staff in 2014. A graduate of Stanford University and
the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Dr. Gorelik brings over 30 years' experience as a board-certified
pediatrician. She has worked internationally for many years through the non-profit foundation, Voice of the Children, seeking
to meet the needs of neglected children in Russia, Cuba and elsewhere. She has also served as clinical faculty at Stanford
Medical School. She is bilingual in Spanish...and Russian! She and her husband, Alex, have two school aged children.
