San Benito Pediatrics offers a full range of pediatric health care services to our
patients and their families.
Well child examinations, including sports,school and camp physicals,
with routine vision, hearing, hemoglobin, urine and related screening tests, anticipatory guidance, counseling and vaccinations.
We participate in the CHDP and VFC programs, which provide free health assessments and vaccines for patients who have Medi-Cal
insurance or whose families qualify based upon income guidelines. For more on well child care, click Special Programs & Services
Urgent care for acute illnesses, including specialized on- site diagnostic
testing: tympanometry, oto-acoustic emission testing, pulmonary function testing, spirometry.
Chronic care for ongoing disease management, such as asthma, allergy,
diabetes and other conditions. Dr. Yager participates in the State's CCS program as well.

- Behavioral Management Program. San Benito Pediatrics practitioners
have many years' experience in assessing and diagnosing behavioral challenges and learning exceptionalities, and in working
with parents, schools and teachers to assure each child has a "level playing field" in their home life and academic experience.
Special Programs and Services.
- Breastfeeding Support. Dr. Yager and his associates are skilled
in counseling lactating mothers and their families. Our office maintains breastfeeding supplies as well as collaborative
relationships with lactation specialists.

- Our own Level II CLIA-certified laboratory on site providing routine
lab testing, complemented by easy access to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital for other testing services.
- SBP's free family lending library, featuring educational
books and videos on topics ranging from infant care, discipline and other parenting issues to asthma, allergy and Autistic
Spectrum Disorder.
- Behavior Management Program, providing diagnosis, treatment, counseling and
care coordination with other professionals (e.g., physicians, teachers) for patients with diagnoses such
as Attention Deficit, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, Obsessive Compulsive, Bipolar, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders, as

- SBP Vaccine Program. We provide a full complement of childhood
and young adult vaccines, including immunizations recommended for college students. We offer patients four choices for
receiving vaccine; fees apply: within the health assessment (physical) appointment, within a nurse-only Vaccine Visit, through
the San Benito County Health Department (info (831) 637-5367) OR through the State's Vaccines for Children (VFC) program (for
